Ramada By Wyndham Harrisburg/Hershey Area Hotel, Harrisburg

The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and comfortable despite being a bit out of the way for our family and friends due to allergies. The service was lacking in friendliness and experience, but the location was great, close to shops and a park. The dining experience had its flaws, while the facilities were decent overall.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, while spacious, had some cleanliness issues like grass spots missed by housekeeping. The service was hit or miss, with some staff being rude while others were energized and enthusiastic. The location was convenient for a quick stopover, but the constant dog barking was a downside. The dining options were average at best, and I couldn't fully enjoy due to noise from neighboring rooms.

Upon arrival, I was initially assigned a very small room that felt cramped with no space to even move around comfortably. However, after some confusion, I was relocated to a room with a fireplace and an in-room jacuzzi tub, which unfortunately I didn't get a chance to enjoy. The rooms weren't ready when we checked in around 4:45 pm, which was a bit inconvenient. The service was a mix of good and bad experiences; the staff were helpful overall, but there was a mishap with the breakfast key one morning, and some members were a bit rude. The location was kept clean and convenient for our cheer competition stay, despite being a bit remote, making it challenging to find quick bites nearby. The dining options were somewhat limited but satisfactory, and I noticed a concerning low rating for the restaurant. The hotel facilities were functional, though not exceptional. The stay was decent, but there is room for improvement.
